Save space and materials with thick film.
Thick film heating elements have low thermal mass and conserve energy without compromising performance.
Get an affordable heating solution that gives you the fast, reliable, and uniform heating you need.
Datec thick film heating elements consist of large area resistors.
Our heating elements create more heat, minimize hot spots, improve reliability, and run cooler than a track or serpentine circuit.
At Datec, we provide OEMs with the high performance, thick-film heating components they need to manufacture and advance their products.
Datec’s new low voltage DC aluminum-base heater, IntegrAL® LV, is a high-performing, thick-film heating element that is ideal for portable or battery-operated devices.

Datec materials are broadly compatible because of our low processing temperature (under 400°C) that allows our heater circuits to be deposited on materials like aluminum and aluminum alloys with low melting temperatures.
The inherent flexibility of the heater microstructure also allows heaters to be deposited on substrates with high CTE (Coefficient of Thermal Expansion).
